[ichi.]

Project: ichi (meaning "one" in Japanese) is a big step towards Joseph Barnes career as a Software Developer. Inspired by "180 websites in 180 days" by Jennifer Dewalt and the now deleted YouTube channel "Unus Annus", hosted by Mark Fischbach (Markiplier) and Ethan Nestor, ichi will be a collection of 365 websites posted daily over the course of a year. The goal of ichi is to develop better habits and a portfolio of projects for building a strong foundation of skills.

Update May 30, 2024: I had joined the workforce and unfortunately put my dream on hold. I failed project ichi. Though, I want to take this failure in stride and include this site as part of my learning journey! As of today, work is being done to revamp the site into a portfolio. My new goal is to help break down the stigma of tech to your average joe! I hope I can provide that for anyone who is interested in my journey.
